We are located in the Cradle of Humankind region, approximately 1 km from the R563 and N14 T-junction towards Krugersdorp.
We are a family owned business established in 1982, we specialize in the growing of shrubs, climbers and creepers, groundcovers and perennials, succulents and trees. Our main supply is to Plant Brokers and Landscapers, Nurseries and Property Developers as well as the Public.
We can grow specific plants on contract bases or on order.
With a true passion for plants Founders Faan & Sandrie Haasbroek established Ekonoplant meaning “Ekonomiese Plante” in 1982, what started off as a hobby and secondary income quickly developed into propagation of plants on contract basis for nurseries.

Janine 'Haasbroek' Booysen is currently in charge of Ekonoplant and its operations.
With a love for the beauty of plants, seeing how it transforms a previously sad garden in to something beautiful is her driving force and inspiration and off-coarse being outdoors.
With her Architectural Study & Project Management back ground she brings the Landscape Design element to Ekonoplant.
